Will my listing be automatically archived?

To ensure our website displays the most relevant and up-to-date properties, Commercial Real Estate automatically removes listings that have been displayed on-site for an extended period without being modified.

  • Silver Listings: Listings will be automatically archived if they are more than 270 days (8 months) old and have not been modified.
  • Branded Listings: Listings will be automatically archived if they are more than 26 weeks old

This automated process is designed to ensure the best experience for property seekers and provide the highest quality leads to our agents.

We’ll notify you!

The primary agent on the listing and the agency’s general email address will receive notification emails before a listing is archived:

  • 14 days before the auto-archival.
  • 2 days before the auto-archival.

 

How to extend your listing

If you would like your listing to remain active, you can extend its duration using any of the following three methods:

1. Update via your CRM or Agent Admin

Making a meaningful update to your listing will automatically restart the archival cycle. Valid updates include:

  • Photos: Adding, removing, or re-ordering photos.
  • Price: Updating the listing price.
  • Description: Making a text change to the description (e.g., updating text or adding a period).
  • Note: Simply adding a ‘space’ at the end of the text will not count as a modification.

Save changes: Ensure you click ‘Save’ to successfully extend the listing.

 

2. Extend via Expiry Email

You can extend your listing directly from the notification emails sent to your inbox:

  • Click the ‘Extend’ CTA within the expiry email.
  • You will be redirected to Agent Admin; click ‘Yes, Extend’ in the confirmation modal to finalise the extension.


3. Extend via Agent Admin

You can manually extend a listing at any time through the Agent Admin portal:

  • Navigate to the listing’s Overview page.
  • In the Marketing component (under the Silver Listing section), click the ‘Extend’ link.
  • Click ‘Yes, Extend’ in the confirmation modal.
