Listings map location is incorrect

Why is the map location incorrect for my listing?

Usually, this is due to the address not matching Google Maps, or if that location has not yet been updated by Google Maps.

Every listing on Commercial Real Estate has a map location.

This map location is visible when a property searcher is using the map search tool on either the app or the desktop version.

Also, every listing has a window showing the property location on Google Maps.

The location will be placed on the map according to the address and should be exactly the same location as if you had entered that address on Google Maps.

To ensure the listing displays the correct location, you must ensure to use the correct address, and must also ensure the correct information is entered in the correct fields IE: 'street number' in the street number field, 'street name' in the street name field, etc.

Using an alternative such as “Corner of one road and another road” may not be recognised by Google Maps resulting in inaccurate location placement.

 Shiny new location?

If the listing is in a new street, suburb, or new building, or even in a rural area, the address location may not have yet been updated within Google Maps, therefore, we will not have an accurate location to use. In these instances, click the Support icon to contact Domain Group Support and we will be able to move the locator to the correct position.
