Not receiving property enquiries

Why am I not receiving my property enquiries?

That's very serious. Let's see if there are any mail issues preventing your agents receiving Commercial Real Estate listing enquiries.

If you believe you are not receiving your Commercial Real Estate enquiries there are a number of ways you can check to see if there are any mail issues.

Note:

Commercial Real Estate enquiries are sent with 'enquiries@commercialrealestate.com.au' as the 'sender'.

Send a test email enquiry

Find one of your listings on Commercial Real Estate and click on ‘Email agent’. Check your inbox to see if you have received it. Allow 5 minutes for email to pass through.

Check your spam folder

Perhaps your inbox has detected your enquires as spam. Check in your spam folder to see if your enquires have ended up there. If so, mark these emails as 'not spam'.

Check listing enquiries

  1. Check listing enquiries. Log into Agent Admin and find your listing. Once you’ve found your listing in the stocklist, click the Listing ID to open the listing overview page.

  2. Check your email address in the agent list. From the side-menu, click Agency, then Agent list. Find your record in the agent list and check your email address.

Note:

If using a listing CRM, do not make any changes to name, phone number or email without also updating your CRM - Agent Admin uses the contact details to match agents in listings to the agents entered in the agent list. If there is even a slight difference, a duplicate agent will be created.

Hard Bounce Mail Suppression

It’s possible that there has been an issue with your mail system and it has rejected a Domain or Commercial Real Estate listing enquiry as a ‘hard bounce’; this is not due to any errors with Domain Group's mail system.

When we receive a 'hard bounce' or 'spam block' our mail server stops sending emails to that recipient for up to 8 days. This is referred to as a mail suppression and is programmed in accordance with global email SMTP standards.

You will need to contact your IT or Mail Support team to find out why you are not receiving these emails.

To assist with any investigation, we can provide them with the necessary data (mail header info, activity and event logs) upon request.

Domain Group Support team are motivated to assist as much as possible, so your IT team are welcome to contact Domain Group Support directly for assistance.

Did your IT team resolve this already?

If your IT team confirm they have identified and resolved the issue, we can manually lift the suppression.

It must be a Commercial Real Estate problem because I'm still receiving other peoples emails...

Not quite; It’s still possible and normal for you to receive emails from other senders. It’s only emails from ‘enquiries@commercialrealestate.com.au’ that have been blocked.

Let's review what's happened:

  • We've tried to send an email
  • Your mail system has rejected it as a hard bounce
  • Our mail system has received the 'hard bounce' and stopped trying to send emails

All Commercial Real Estate enquiries are sent from 'enquires@commercialrealestate.com.au'
